FREE WORKSHOP FOR AGES 11-19
📍 Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre
📅 Wednesday 30th October
🕙 10:30am – 2:30pm (with 30 min lunch break)
👥 Ages: 11–18
💡 Focus: Digital animation + stop-motion storytelling inspired by spooky local heritage
Join us this October half-term for a spooktacular day of creativity, storytelling, and digital design inspired by North East Lincolnshire’s most chilling local legends. From the ghostly ships of Cleethorpes Beach to the mischievous Grimsby Goblin and the haunted workshop of Fish Dock Road, we’ll be bringing these eerie tales to life through animation and stop-motion filmmaking.
Working in pairs, young people will learn how to plan, design, and animate their own short scenes using Procreate on iPads as well as create hands-on stop-motion clips using props, sets, and craft materials.
No experience is needed - just your imagination!
Spaces are limited so booking is essential. This workshop is fully supervised by experienced, DBS-checked staff. Young people can be left in our care for the duration of the session, and a contact number will be collected when you book in case we need to reach you during the day.
